Relationships Over Time
Differences in communication, expectations, or closeness may bring people to therapy. Personal history and mood can also shape these concerns.
Sessions may explore communication patterns, individual perspectives, and the ways each person responds during disagreement.
Questions to Explore
- How do we communicate our needs and respond to differences?
- What does trust mean to each of us, and what has affected it?
- How do expectations about children, money, intimacy, or commitment differ?
- Which patterns keep returning, even after an argument seems resolved?
Intimacy & Closeness
Emotional and physical intimacy can be affected by relationship strain, mood changes, personal history, and medical concerns. The conversation can consider these together without assuming a single cause or a single solution.
Individual or Couples Work
Some relationship questions are explored individually; others involve meeting as a couple. The focus may include communication, decisions about the future, or navigating separation. Goals are discussed with the people involved; the course and outcome of the work vary.
